Further expansion: Ground-breaking ceremonies at the German sites
To supply the world markets furthermore with first grade machines made in Germany one building for technical and sales offices is erected at the headquarters in Breidenbach / Hessen and two production halls are built at the site in Neubrandenburg / Mecklenburg-Hither Pomerania.
'The new buildings are an investment in the future and a commitment to each of the both regions', explains Mathias Dülfer, CEO of Weber Maschinenbau. Since 1981 Weber has manufactured its products in Breidenbach / Hessen. The site in Neubrandenburg / Mecklenburg-Hither Pomerania has commenced operations in 1999. 'The high reliability and the quality made in Germany are the main decision criteria of our customers for Weber products', says Mr Dülfer. 'Efficiency is our driving force in the competition with companies that are producing in low-wage countries.'
For Weber the expansion means another efficiency enhancement. 'Additionally, our prospects are shorter throughput and delivery times.' Mathias Dülfer explains. The benefit of the projects next to the positive economical impulses for the regions Hessen and Mecklenburg-Hither Pomerania as well as Germany in general is that Weber will increase the performance capabilities for the customers.
